In Namibia, I didnโt just speak โ I listened.
I met leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who understand that tourism must do more than grow โ it must include. It must uplift. It must leave no one behind.
From Ministers Hon. Indileni Daniel and Hon. Selma Ashipala-Musavyi to every youth and woman with a dream โ one message was clear: the future of tourism is inclusive, or itโs incomplete.
Thatโs why I proposed a bold initiative:
The Inclusive Tourism Investment & Funding Strategy โ a UN Tourism flagship to direct capital, opportunity, and visibility where itโs needed most.
This is how we build it:
โ๏ธ Micro-funds for youth and women-led enterprises
โ๏ธ Equity-focused public-private partnerships
โ๏ธ Policies that hardwire inclusion
โ๏ธ Training for financial and digital empowerment
โ๏ธ Global visibility for community-led experiences
This campaign isnโt about titles โ itโs about transformation.
Because when we listen first, we lead better.
And in Namibia, I heard the future calling. Loud and clear.
