I participated in the Mediterranean Tourism Forum in Malta where I had the opportunity to exchange views with people of the tourism industry on the cooperation between the Mediterranean and Red Sea countries, as well as on broader issues related to tourism. During the Forum, I had the pleasure and honor of receiving an award for the management of the tourism product during the pandemic and for the rapid recovery of tourism in Greece. Finally, I met with, HE Ian Borg, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, who expressed his country’s support for the Greek candidacy to the General Secretariat of the World Tourism Organization.
